Please read before purchasing items.. updated Spring 2025.
We are based in the UK in Cornwall and ship to anywhere in the UK and USA currently. ( UK now excludes Northern Ireland )
We aim to ship your jewellery to you within 3 working days from date of order or alot sooner if we can! Please allow a few days on top for it to reach you via Royal mail post if you are buying from within the UK.
If you need an item for a specific date such as Christmas or bdays we would advise to order 2 to 3 weeks in advance to guarantee it definitely arrives on time.
We are a small homemade home grown family business and appreciate every single order thank you.
We are in based in the UK in Cornwall.
We send all parcels via Royal Mail signed for/recorded delivery for UK orders.
We do not charge for postage. Price you see on each item is the only price you pay. If you have a bigger order over £80 upwards I will send via Royal mail special delivery at no extra cost as that is a bit more secure and covered.
International shipping
We currently also post to the USA. We charge £10 on top of the product price for international tracked and signed shipping via Royal mail. ( I think in dollars it is about 13 us dollars)
It will all be calculated when you reach checkout for you.
Please note you may be subject to customs charges and taxes at your end. This is down to you as the customer to pay any duties or taxes once it reaches you. Also any delays at customs are out of our control. We will ship your item as soon as possible with all the relevant paperwork for customs but it could take anywhere from 2 weeks up to 6 weeks to reach you so please be aware when ordering that it may be slow to reach you from here in the UK. Thanks. ( please note ones I've sent to usa recently have got there within 1 week so not as slow at the moment! ) most are taking 1 week only from UK to usa.
You can pay for your items via Paypal OR if you do not have Paypal or prefer paying with a credit or debit card then we now accept card payment via Stripe. Checkout is fast secure and easy to use!
This means more people than ever can now shop at Stargazy Cottage Jewellery. We accept all major credit and debit cards on the website. We do not accept cheques or Postal orders anymore. Thank you for understanding.
We post out your orders in either recycled /recycleable cardboard gift boxes OR cardboard inserts for necklaces /earrings within a cardboard pillow box then wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon. I only use a UK company for all my packaging so its all ethical recycled and recycleable materials as this planets future is so important to me and my family!
Please note in busier periods such as Christmas and Easter your parcel may take slightly longer and as we use Royal Mail if they have any delays due to bad weather etc this will be beyond our control although we will do our very best to keep you informed throughout if we know there may be a delay.
No refunds given if the item is on its way to you but gets delayed with Royal Mail itself. You will need to wait for the item to arrive with you. This rarely happens except at busier times such as Christmas. Please order in plenty of time!
REFUND POLICIES
Customer Satisfaction is our highest aim so if you are not entirely satisfied please let us know within 7 working days of recieving your parcel via our contact form or email or instagram message (@stargazycottagejewellery over on instagram) with your full details and we will get back to you and will do our best to either fix an item if needed, offer an alternative or refund where appropriate and this will be down to what is most appropriate for the order in question.
With our beautiful well made jewellery, it is highly unlikely and happens rarely but if a refund is wanted you will need to post items back to us within 14 working days of the email stating you wanted a refund and send the jewellery back in its original packaging. Please send it back signed for delivery so we definitely get it back and then we can refund you once it's recieved. Also wrap as securely as possible please. Please also notify me if you are sending an item back before sending thank you. You will need to cover the cost of posting the item back to us yourself.
After you have had your jewellery for over 7 days (and we have not been notified that you are unhappy with your items) then no refund will be given but we do take it on a case by case basis! We do not ever refund earrings or have them returned for hygiene reasons so please be aware of this when you purchase earrings from us.
Refunds will only be total of original invoice. No refunds for any sale items. You will need to cover the cost of sending items back to us.
If you buy from overseas and you have to pay a customs charge at your end (sometimes happens for larger items so please be aware) then it will be down to you as the customer to pay any customs charges and we will not refund for this. This will be your own responsibility and not ours so be aware of this when buying.
